Class size: 6 maximum. Average class size = 3/4

These lessons are for those developing their strength and technique in breaststroke, front crawl, back crawl, and butterfly. Lessons are a mix of fun games and developing technique practices.

The swimmer must of completed STA Goldfish 1 or ASA Stage 3.

These classes focus on developing and establishing good technique. Building up stamina in the correct technique instead of using a longer distance where they get tired half way across the pool and loose the stroke entirely.

"My little girl really enjoys swimming each week. It is amazing to see the confidence she has gained in the water over such a short time. The lessons are always varied, giving children the chance to practice skills lots, but done through games so the children find it lots of fun."

After the initial stroke development, we then start to focus on completing their strokes into more competitive ones. Along with competitive turns, develop basic lifesaving skills, water polo and synchronized swimming skills so that every child has a varied skills base in swimming.

As they become more disciplined and completed the Bronze levels, they can look at joining swimming clubs, such as volleyball, water polo, lifesaving, and competitive swimming.

Progress is monitored every lesson a star chart is available to stamp on pool side every other week. This shows their progress on the level they are working towards. A sticker chart is available in their progress book; if they achieve a goal on the level they are working towards they get a sticker.
